the Chair and commissioners of the Cree School Board,
we have secured important resources to allow us to
improve our education system in a manner respectful of
our culture and language:

education funding expanded to exceed $100 million annually within five years

new resources devoted to adult education and professional training

new $18 million professional training center under construction in Waswanipi

new career and education opportunities for Cree youth

Cree post secondary students continue to receive the largest education support funding in Canada

new child care service in collaboration with the Cree School Board for young school-aged children whose parents require after school day care services;
